|Medieval inspired square Millacreli Murano glass ring featuring a black, white, grey, and yellow-centered Millefiori Murano glass center stone, with pin-cushion rounded edges. One could think of the ornate armor influencing this ring.|
Rhodium plated 925 sterling silver dots the perimeter of this ring, to accent this lovely glass ring. The Rhodium plating is added for an anti-tarnish, scratch-resistant, and lustrous white gold appearance.
Millefiori is a type of Murano glass jewelry that has been handcrafted with various layers of colors to create beautiful flower-like patterns.
Millefiori, which literally means a thousand flowers, as in mille, or mil, is the denomination of a type of cylindrical, long glass rod which contains a specific pattern along its entire length, so that when cut into slices from one end, the particular pattern will be revealed. These flowers are then placed in more Murano glass to create the center glass stone.
This ring is an authentic Murano glass ring, by designer Alan K. This style of glass has been around since the Middle Ages and more recently, has been produced for fine jewelry.
Millacreli (Murano Glass) is a handmade product. Actual color shades and patterns may be slightly different than that shown in the image.
